The CB-1500 coastal data buoy is secured by a two-point mooring system over a mud substrate in 13 meters of water. The buoy is equipped with a solar-powered weather station and surface and near-bottom water quality sensors that collect data every 30 min, as well as a cellular modem for real-time data communication. This dataset contains water quality data from a couple of surface sondes, EXO and C3, the latter of which has its parameters isolated in the 0 ft (or m) depth section on the Seagull dive deeper page. |
