This site is one of the 14 source water intake points belonging to the Huron to Erie Drinking Water Monitoring Network established in 2007 along the U.S side of the Huron to Erie corridor. With real-time monitoring equipment including EXO2 and TD4100, etc., the network can automatically detect anomalies in source water and send notifications to all water treatment plants along the corridor for early warning.
