It is located 2 nautical miles SSW of Buffalo, New York, in the Eastern Basin of Lake Erie in approximately 40 feet of water. This buoy provides real-time wind, water, and wave conditions that are useful for commercial and recreational navigation. It also connects the general public to the water and helps them make safe decisions. Other benefits include the collection of quantifiable data related to coastal resiliency, meteorology, and ecological studies. We would like to acknowledge the New York Power Authority’s Niagara River Greenway Ecological Fund for financial support to purchase and operate this buoy.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nair_pressure (Pa)\nair_pressure_aggregate_test\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level (Pa)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level_aggregate_test (aggregate_quality_flag)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\nair_pressure_flat_line_test\nair_pressure_gross_range_test\nair_pressure_rate_of_change_test\nair_pressure_spike_test\nair_temperature (K)\nair_temperature_aggregate_test (aggregate_quality_flag)\nair_temperature_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nair_temperature_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nair_temperature_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\n... This equipment is part of a larger county-wide monitoring initiative that seeks to fill in data gaps so that land managers can make effective restoration decisions. Two sondes suspended beneath the buoy both measure temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, phycocyanin, chlorophyll, and florescent dissolved organic matter at multiple depths.  This equipment is owned and operated by ODC Network, a nonprofit that strives to advance outdoor education and conservation in west Michigan.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nbattery_voltage (V)\nbattery_voltage_aggregate_test (aggregate_quality_flag)\nbattery_voltage_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nbattery_voltage_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nbattery_voltage_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\nbattery_voltage_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1 (chlorophyll_fluorescence, RFU)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1_aggregate_test (aggregate_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_1_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5 (chlorophyll_fluorescence, RFU)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5_aggregate_test (aggregate_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence_4_5_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\n...
