This equipment is part of a larger county-wide monitoring initiative that seeks to fill in data gaps so that land managers can make effective restoration decisions. Two sondes suspended beneath the buoy both measure temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, phycocyanin, chlorophyll, and florescent dissolved organic matter at multiple depths.
