Water is pumped from the Maumee River intake at the Water Plant up to a tank in the Pump House where NuLab sampling equipment and a YSI sonde perform various analysis on river water quality. That analysis is continuous and updated to the website continuously. The analysis will provide vital information to WTP staff on river water quality and help in the determination of pumping water to the reservoir.
