This buoy is owned and maintained by LimnoTech and is funded through a NOAA Coastal Storms grant with ongoing support from the City of South Haven, Van Buren County, and Entergy – Palisades Nuclear Plant. The buoy measures meteorological and water surface conditions like wind speed and direction, air and water temperature, relative humidity, wave direction, height and perio . The data is logged internally as well as transmitted in ten minute intervals to the internet via cellular modem.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nair_pressure (Pa)\nair_pressure_at_mean_sea_level (Pa)\nair_temperature (K)\nbattery_voltage (V)\ndew_point_temperature (K)\nrelative_humidity (1)\nsea_surface_temperature (Water temp at depth, K)\nsea_surface_wave_from_direction (Wave direction (from), degree)\nsea_surface_wave_maximum_height (m)\nsea_surface_wave_maximum_period (s)\nsea_surface_wave_mean_height_of_highest_tenth (m)\nsea_surface_wave_period_at_variance_spectral_density_maximum (Dominant wave period, s)\nsea_surface_wave_significant_height (Significant wave height, m)\nsea_surface_wave_significant_period (s)\nsurface_downwelling_shortwave_flux_in_air (W m-2)\nwind_from_direction (Wind direction (from), degree)\nwind_speed (m s-1)\nwind_speed_of_gust (Wind Gust Speed, m s-1)\nplatform\n https://seagull-erddap.glos.org/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/obs_37_latest_fgdc.xml https://seagull-erddap.glos.org/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/obs_37_latest_iso19115.xml https://seagull-erddap.glos.org/erddap/info/obs_37_latest/index.htmlTable https://southhavensteelheaders.com/buoy-project/ (external link) https://seagull-erddap.glos.org/erddap/rss/obs_37_latest.rss https://seagull-erddap.glos.org/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=obs_37_latest&showErrors=false&email= Limnotech Inc. obs_37_latest
