The buoy provides real time wind and wave information, as well as temperature through the water column. The data helps make on-water recreation safer, provides anglers with key water temperature information, and improves modeling and forecasting. Located off Port Washington, WI, the buoy is active from approximately May 1 to November 1 each year. NOTE: The wind values displayed for these buoys (Sofar Spotters & Smart Moorings) are based on an estimate from its wave measurements, and not an actual direct measurement.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nsea_surface_wave_from_direction (degree)\nsea_surface_wave_from_direction_at_variance_spectral_density_maximum (degree)\nsea_surface_wave_mean_period (s)\nsea_surface_wave_period_at_variance_spectral_density_maximum (s)\nsea_surface_wave_significant_height (m)\nsea_water_temperature_1 (sea_water_temperature, K)\nsea_water_temperature_1_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_1_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_1_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_1_flat_line_test (flat_line_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_1_aggregate (aggregate_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_1_fixed_depth (depth, m)\nsea_water_temperature_2 (sea_water_temperature, K)\nsea_water_temperature_2_gross_range_test (gross_range_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_2_spike_test (spike_test_quality_flag)\nsea_water_temperature_2_rate_of_change_test (rate_of_change_test_quality_flag)\n...
